The 7th Special Operations Squadron (SOS)
conducts training for special air operations and related activities. The unit also trains with Army
Special Forces and Navy SEALs for unconventional warfare operations. A controller coordinates with
an MC-130E Hercules Combat Talon aircraft by radio as the aircraft approaches a Fulton recovery
balloon.
