Staff Sgt. Brian Loudermilk leads the daily, solemn set of push-ups in front of the memorial to combat controllers who have died in the line of duty. The memorial is sacred ground to the controllers, and students (in the grass) must do their push-ups beyond the memorial’s bounds until they graduate.
