Officer Career Field Description:

Specialty Summary. Provides United States Air Force and joint warfighters with austere airfield management capability. Manages day-to-day operations of special tactics teams (STT) to survey, establish, and control air-to-ground interface in an objective area. Deploys as a STT member or to provide combat control expertise. Advises on combat control and STT operations.

Enlisted Career Field Description:

Specialty Summary. Directs and controls the delivery and battlefield application of lethal and nonlethal airpower. Uses visual and electronic aids to control airhead in the area of responsibility (AOR). Establishes long-range command and control communications and intelligence (C3I) nets.
